There’s something magnetic about an invitation that’s both simple and profound. No pressure. No long explanation. Just the spark of movement wrapped in six words:
“You wanna come? C’mon!”
This is the whisper of the Holy Spirit.
Not just to the already-ready.
Not just to the ones with credentials or polished résumés.
But to you. In all your unfinishedness, your questions, your wonderings, and your quiet longing to be part of something more.
God is moving—and He’s inviting you.
⸻
The Divine Invitation
“Come, follow Me,” Yeshua said.
Not, “Come when you’ve figured it all out.”
Not, “Come once you’ve fixed yourself.”
Just—come.
He didn’t pass out applications. He passed out invitations.
He didn’t ask Peter to stop being a fisherman before following—He simply showed him a new way to fish.
And when Peter dropped his nets, the whole world shifted.
That’s what happens when you follow the whisper instead of waiting for the explanation.
⸻
Why We Hesitate
The hesitation often isn’t disobedience—it’s disbelief in our worthiness.
We think, Surely He’s not talking to me.
We stall, wondering:
• What if I mess it up?
• What if I’m not ready?
• What if I’m not enough?
But let’s be honest—none of us were “ready” when we started.
We were just willing.
That’s the difference.
⸻
“You Wanna Come?” Implies Movement
To follow means to move.
To go with Him into:
• The unknown
• The wild
• The uncomfortable
• The miraculous
It means your yes has a direction.
And it may start with the smallest nudge. A conversation. A song. A vision. A burden that won’t leave you alone.
The movement of God always starts with invitation, not explanation.
⸻
Divine Simplicity
God doesn’t always speak in thunder. Sometimes He speaks in the tone of a friend with a smile in His voice:
“You wanna come? C’mon!”
It’s reminiscent of how Philip found Nathanael in John 1:46. When Nathanael scoffed about anything good coming from Nazareth, Philip didn’t argue or convince. He just said:
“Come and see.”
That’s the invitation.
Not debate it.
Not study it first.
Just come.
⸻
Declarations
I hear and respond to the invitation of the Holy Spirit
I am not waiting for perfection—just direction
I move with God, trusting He is leading me into the unknown with purpose
I am willing, even when I feel unready
My “yes” is louder than my fear
I am on a journey with the One who calls me friend
⸻
Prayer
Lord,
Thank You for the simplicity of Your invitation.
You don’t ask me to prove myself. You don’t make me jump through hoops. You just say, “You wanna come? C’mon.”
So here I am.
I may not feel ready, but I trust You’re already walking with me.
I lay down hesitation. I silence the voices of unworthiness.
I rise with willingness. I move with faith.
Take me into the places You’ve prepared for me—whether wild or quiet, grand or hidden.
I want to come. I want to go with You.
So here’s my yes.
Let’s go.
In the name of Yeshua,
Amen.
⸻
Final Thought
There are no prerequisites to walk with the King of Glory.
Only ears to hear.
Only a heart to say yes.
So if He’s asking you—
“You wanna come?”
Don’t overthink it.
Just say,
“C’mon.”
And go.
Because what He has for you on the other side of obedience will change everything.
